FyrSoft Life Cycle Model
Evaluation & Planning - This is the introductory phase in which we learn about your business, operating environment, technology requirements, timeline, and measurement for success. The end result is to devise a plan, budget, and timeline to meet your business needs through technology.
Implementation - After a successful E&P phase we are ready to move the project into implementation phase. The first stage is to design the system and architecture to support the platform. Once the design requirement is satisfied, a suitable project plan will be put in place to outline all aspects of the implementation from start to finish, highlighting checkpoints and reviews along the way. The end result of this phase will be a successful implementation that has either been handed over to your internal support team or maintained by our team.
Integrate & Extend - Once the platform is in place and functioning it is now possible to integrate and extend the platform to maximize ROI. This phase includes connecting systems for data flow, optimizing configurations, and extending capabilities with third party modules. The result will be a system that's one step closer to your business needs.
Development & Customizations - Now that the platform has been correctly optimized and integrated you will have the opportunity to identify any additional functionality and assess how can use the system most effectively. The changes identified in this stage are usually the results of after thoughts or realizations that the base packages and third party extensions do not fulfill all of your exact criteria. In this phase custom programs, modules, reports, and extensions will be built to fully realize the ROI of the platform.
Maintenance & Health - An after thought in most technology projects, we try to bring this stage into the limelight from day one encouraging long term planning. Once the technology is in place, it will need maintenance and will require a cost to keep up your investment. Lack of regular maintenance checks, software updates, bug fixes, health checks, and continued adoption can invalidate the entire investment and shorten the life cycle of the software. A proper maintenance & health process is critical to the longevity of the system.
At a high-level, our Life Cycle model will guide you through a technology service implementation that will satisfy your driving business requirements while utilizing common ITIL practices to ensure proper planning.
